März 2026 weitere Termine folgen Eine lose Workshop-Reihe zur Vertiefung von grundlegenden Prinzipien, die einen gelösten, akrobatischen und ins sich sicheren Tanz ermöglichen. Neben der Arbeit an den Prinzipien (Center-Connection, Klarheit der Bewegung, sich im Tanz gegenseitig unterstützen, etc.) werden auch einzelne Bewegungspfade untersucht und erarbeitet. /Center-Connection/: Um gemeinsame Balance und gemeinsame Bewegungsrichtungen zu spüren, bedarf es insbesondere der Verbindung über die Zentren. Sie ermöglicht ein unmittelbares Erleben, ein verkörpertes Spürbewusstsein und damit einen ununterbrochenen Tanzfluss mit hoher physischer wie nervlicher Sicherheit. In meiner Erfahrung ist diese Qualität der Verbindung ein Wesensmerkmal der Contact Improvisation. Im Tanz ermöglicht eigentlich erst sie Lifts und akrobatische „Desorientierungen“, die gleichwohl improvisiert und sicher sind. He also completed the Program for Contemporary and Classical Dance at Leipzig Dance Theatre. Since 2013 he has been teaching continuously, with >1,000 hours of teaching experience across 50+ weekend workshops, regular classes and jams, and festival settings. He also co-organized the Leipzig CI Festival. Working as a Gestalt therapist, Frédéric integrates somatic psychology with CI practice to create welcoming, experiential spaces. Trust sits at the heart of his teaching — he invites people to offer it, experience it, and build it together. This allows honesty to emerge, abandon to feel safe, and infinite play to unfold. For him, CI is an emancipatory and transformative practice that empowers both individuals and communities. Trained as an academic researcher with a PhD in Biology, Frédéric brings precise language and a rigorous approach to biomechanical principles. He emphasizes center connection as the foundation for safe improvisational acrobatics, exploring the interplay of awareness, yielding, and dynamic physicality. At the same time — influenced by Zen practice and phenomenological philosophy — he prioritizes direct experience over ideas. He supports students in discovering their own pathways, seeing the teacher’s role as one of creating and refining the conditions for discovery together. His teaching philosophy: to create spaces for authentic encounter, curiosity-driven research, and unlimited playfulness.
