Die Contact Jahresgruppe ist für Menschen mit mehrjähriger CI Vorerfahrung die sich ein intensives Format in einer festen Gruppe wünschen.
Für mich als langjährige Contact-Praktizierende ist es besonders wertvoll und inspirierend über einen längeren Zeitraum mit einer Gruppe gemeinsam zu tanzen, zu lernen und zu forschen. Es entsteht ein Raum in dem ich mit Euch weitergehen kann, der Tanz individuell wachsen und reifen kann, Feinheiten spürbar werden und Fähigkeiten sich verdichten dürfen.
Die Contact Jahresgruppe schafft einen fokussierten, einfühlsamen Rahmen in dem wir essentielle Techniken im Solo und im Kontakt verfeinern. Wir beginnen unseren Körper in Bewegung, in Langsamkeit und Dynamik, in seinen Möglichkeiten zu erforschen, Zusammenhänge erschließensich uns und integrieren sich in unseren Tanz.
In unserer regelmäßigen intensiven Praxis können Contact Prinzipien in unserem Körper erlebt und verinnerlicht (einverleibt) werden. Sie beginnen zu wirken und sich in unserer Tanzpraxis und in unseren Alltag zu integrieren.
Kernthemen sind u.a.:
* Berührungsqualitäten – Faszien - die Kommunikation über die Haut
* Die Feinheiten im Lehnen und Gewicht-Teilen
* Essentielle Techniken zum Fallen, Landen, Aufsteigen
* Organische Körperorganisation und Spiralen durch alle Ebenen
* Knochen, Struktur, Ausrichtung, bewegliche Unterstützung, Tensegrity – die Leichtigkeit im Gewicht geben und nehmen
* Zustände der entspannten Bereitschaft – Atmung, Reflexe, Vertrauen
* Die Wasserqualität im Körper, Flüssigkeiten – flüssiges Gewicht, Verbundenheit, Verfügbarkeit aller Richtungen, Fluss, der kugelförmiger Raum, Rückraum
* Schwerkraft und Fliegen, die Anpassungsfähigkeit unseres Körpertonus in Dynamik
* Von Innen nach Außen: Solo, Duett, Trio und Ensemble – Unfolding - Wahrnehmung von Verbindungen und Kompositionen im Raum

Elske Seidel (Berlin) ist eine global vernetzte und international engagierte Contact Lehrerin, Tänzerin und Bewegungsforscherin. Sie unterrichtet seit fast drei Jahrzehnten kontinuierlich und von ganzem Herzen Tanz, Contact seit 2004. Ihre Hauptforschungsfrage 'Das Wesen von Tanz und seine Vermittlung' motiviert seit Beginn ihres Studiums 1993 bis zum heutigen Tag den Kern ihrer Arbeit.
Elske hat eine unerschöpfliche Faszination Contact Improvisation in ihren Feinheiten und ihrer Tiefe zu erforschen und öffnet dafür den Raum und das Bewusstsein in ihrem Unterricht. Ihr Tanz und ihre Forschung sind getragen von ihrer Arbeit in der Natur, als Quelle für Wissen und Inspiration.

The Contact Jahresgruppe Berlin invites people with a strong background in CI who feel drawn to an intensive format providing continuity, practice and focus in a committed and inspiring group.
For me, as a long-time Contact practitioner and teacher, it is particularly valuable and inspiring to dance, learn and research together with a group over a longer period of time. This frame allows me to build and go further with you on a technical level, supporting the individual growth and potential, as well as going deeper into the somatic research, widening our perception for the subtleties, connections within and movement qualities of CI.
Among many other aspects we will explore:
* qualities of touch, fascia, skin communication
* the subtleties of leaning and sharing weight
* core techniques of falling, landing, and rising
* the organic body organization of spirals through all levels
* bones, structure, alignment, moving support, tensegrity - the lightness of giving and supporting weight
* states of of being relaxed and ready - breath, reflexes, trust
* the water body – flow - liquid weight, connectedness, availability of all directions, spherical space, backspace
* gravity and flying, adaptability of our body tonus in dynamic play
* Duet, Trio and Ensemble – unfolding space - Awareness of connections and compositions in the space, the art and joy of jamming together
Through continuous intensive practice, contact principles are embodied, they become part of our body and being. Gradually, they begin to integrate into our dance practice and beyond, unfolding into our everyday life and connections.

Elske Seidel
based in Berlin, is a passionate movement researcher, CI dancer & teacher, deeply committed to CI and its community internationally. She has been teaching dance full time and wholeheartedly for almost three decades, CI since 2004.
Her boundless fascination and joy exploring and researching Contact Improvisation in all its depth and subtleties, inspires her workshops, privates, ongoing classes, and each of the projects she creates.
She holds a master's degree in Sport Science, Education and English from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Her main research question 'the essence of dance and its teaching' motivates the heart of her work from her early days at University until the present day.
Her work recognizes nature as a core source for knowledge, understanding and inspiration. Meeting the moment, she offers organic support for the individual and the instant community as it emerges, allowing each to feel, find and follow what they need to enjoy dancing.
She is the artistic director of the Annual Contact Festival&Camp Fuerteventura/ Spain and Contact Jahresgruppe Berlin and co- creates Dance Your Question: CI Research Week for Experienced CI Dancers, Contact Year Hamburg and co-organized among many other projects ECITE - European Contact Improvisation Teachers Exchange in Ponderosa/ Germany in 2014.
