(english version below) First day: Basics and all Levels Second day: Advanced Softness und Stability Basics and all levels In dem Basics Workshop geht es darum Weichheit und ein umeinanderfließen zu finden. Wie finde ich ich den gemeinsamen Bewegungsfluß bei dem die gegenseitigen Impulse einander bedingen, keiner führt oder folgt. Wie puzzeln sich die Körperteile ineinander und finden Kontakt. Daraus, in der Weichheit und Elastizität bleibend, finden wir Stabilität, die uns ermöglicht mit Leichtigkeit Gewicht zu nehmen und zu teilen. Advanced Im Advanced Workshop entwickeln wir das Thema weiter- wie hilft uns die Weichheit zu fallen und in den Boden zu fließen, uns beim fliegen dem Momentum hinzugeben? Wie finden wir Stabilität um aus dem Fluß heraus zu heben? In beiden Workshop gibt es Teile bei denen wir spielerisch sowie fein und präzise forschen. How do I find the common flow of movement in which the mutual impulses condition each other, no one leads or follows. How the body parts puzzle into each other and find contact. From this, remaining in softness and elasticity, we find stability that allows us to take weight and share with ease. Advanced In the Advanced Workshop we develop the topic further... how does the softness help us to fall and flow into the ground and give in to the momentum while flying? How do we find stability to lift out of the Flow of movement? In both workshop parts, in which we do playful as well, as fine and precise research. *Where are we falling?* Contact Improvisation Workshop mit Pavla Béreš am 22. November 2025 in Essen Fallen ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil unserer Bewegung. Bei jedem Schritt lassen wir uns von der Schwerkraft leiten; bei jedem Atemzug geben wir uns ihr hin. Gemeinsam erforschen wir unsere Beziehung zu „oben“ und „unten“ und wie wir uns beim Aushandeln der Richtungen organisieren. Wir arbeiten daran, unser Vertrauen in die Unterstützung unserer eigenen Struktur und der unserer Partner:in aufzubauen. *Über Pavla:* Von Beruf bin ich Physikerin, aber im Herzen Tänzerin. Mein ganzes Leben lang habe ich mich gefragt, wie das Universum funktioniert, und überraschenderweise fand ich meine Antworten eher in Bewegung und menschlicher Kommunikation als in der Wissenschaft. Meine Tanzreise begann in meiner Jugend mit Standard-Paartänzen, setzte sich mit Lindi und Blues fort und war immer auf der Suche nach mehr Freiheit. Die Entdeckung der CI war für mich wie die Entdeckung eines fehlenden Puzzleteils in meinem Leben. Für mich ist es eine Praxis der Freiheit, der Bewegung ohne Einschränkungen, aber gleichzeitig ein Dialog und eine Auseinandersetzung zwischen mir und anderen Tänzer:innen. Ich hatte das Glück, 2023/24 am der CI Teacher Training in Freiburg teilzunehmen und befinde mich derzeit in der Ausbildung zur Trainerin für Gewaltfreie Kommunikation. Seit einigen Jahren unterrichte ich CI in meiner Community und möchte meine Leidenschaft noch mehr teilen, was mich zu euch führt. *Workshopsprache*: Englisch und Deutsch *Zeit: * 22. Liebe Contact Tanzende, Ende Oktober beginnt meine *nächste Jahresgruppe*, auf die ich mich schon sehr freue. Es ist schon eine sehr nette Gruppe und es gibt noch wenige freie Plätze!!! She travels throughout EU and the Americas giving workshops in various institutional and private contexts. In Alsace, her base of action, she is a member of Co. Dégadézo since 2005.  She is co-organizer and co-artistic director of contactfestival freiburg in Germany since 2012. Further areas of experience in Somatics, contemporary movement techniques, acrobatics and yoga. I am teaching CI and Improvisation since the early 90ies worldwide. These techniques are also the foundation for my SKIN Interactive Performance Concept project, that I have realized in many cities all over South America and Europe with my partner Dani. My main objective is to find to a mutual communication with our partner. In my lessons I try to awaken a playful approach to our bodies in motion, the associated physical forces and touch. In general, I am interested in freedom, lightness and flow in the meeting with our partner and the group. Melanie Seeger (GER) www.tanz-mehr.de Lives and works in Freiburg as a freelance dancer and dance teacher. She gives regular courses in new dance, improvisation, contact improvisation (CI) and Vinyasa yoga. Together with Eckhard Müller and Bernd Ka, Melanie teaches the advanced CI training program by Bewegungs-art Freiburg. Apart from her teaching activities, Melanie performs in various stage projects. She did a two-year training in dance and expression therapy at Wendpunkt and graduated as dancer and performer at TIP (school for dance, improvisation and performance) in Freiburg. Currently she is undergoing Body Mind Centering® training to become somatic movement educator (SME). Melanie first discovered her love for dance when she was in her early 20s. Since then she has been intensively researching various contemporary dance forms and techniques, enjoying going deeper into body-aware understanding of healthy, sustainable movement. *
